Near Exit Alarms: When an Elpas badge approaches an exit, an LF transmitter excites the badge with a unique exit ID. The badge then transmits repeated exit messages containing the badge ID and the exit ID.
Alarm outputs include messages to display units, PCs, sounders, lights etc.
Nurse Escort :EIRIS may be programmed to override a near-exit alert when a nurse is either located or presses her badge button near the exit.
Continuous Tracking:
The location of all badges may be displayed in map or alphanumeric list form.
Indoor and Outdoor:
Long range readers may be placed outside the facility with ranges of 150 meters.
Tamper Alarm:
A tamper alarm is triggered when the badge band is broken.
Control Locks / Buzzers / Lights:
Lock for some badges, open for others.
Control using Elpas External Box relays or using 3rd party I/O devices.
Stand Alone Reader Operation :
Secure an Exit using badges, 1 reader, 1 exciter and 1 External Box. Elpas readers contain on-board processors and may be configured to effect relays based on badge location or button-press.
