For Assisted living facilities, EIRIS provides a reliable means for patients to call for assistance from anywhere in the building.

Pendent, Wrist Band or Wall Mounted
Wrist band contains tamper sensor.

Call from Anywhere
When a patient badge button is pressed, Eiris determines the location of the badge within the facility and reports the call to the care providers.

Page – SMS – PC Screen – Wall Mounted Displays
The patients name and location are listed on the nurse station display and may be sent to pagers or cell phones via SMS. Page messages may be periodically resent until the call is cancelled.

Automatic Cancellation based on Nurse Location
When the nurse arrives at the location of the caller (and remains for a pre-configured time), the call is automatically canceled. The name of the nurse and the time of cancellation are recorded to the database for reporting and auditing.

Code Blue using Nurse Tag Button
When a nurse attends a call and requires additional medical help, the nurse may press the button on the personnel tag. This will trigger a code blue call containing the location and nurse ID.

Call Log
The EIRIS database contains historical information about all EIRIS badge alerts and events. Nurse call reports may contain the following information.

  • Call Time
  • Caller ID
  • Call Location
  • Nurse ID
  • Nurse Arrival Time
  • Assistance Time
