Simple backend integration

Visonic Technologies’ EIRIS software can provide a simple to use development kit for sending location information to management systems and for receiving asset properties for classification of an Asset within the EIRIS database.

Smallest Active-RFID footprint available
The Elpas Asset Tracking tag is the smallest active asset tag in the industry. At 4 by 3cm (1.5 by 1.18 inches) an appropriate mounting surface may be found on almost any asset without electronic interfering with its operation.

Intuitive search tools
Using EIRIS tracking screens, searching for an asset is simple. Drill-down to find the specific asset type and display all such assets currently found within a specified area.

Powerful alert logic
EIRIS software provides powerful alerts that can be used to alert when an asset passes a specified area or when the number of assets exceeds or falls short of a specified quota for a given area.

Escort Assets using standard Access-Control cards
When integrating the Elpas tracking system with VisAccess Access Control, when a staff member presents his card at an exit, the system will allow him to pass an asset assigned to him and not another.

The Elpas Asset Tag contains a sensor that alarms should an unauthorized attempt be made to remove the tag from the surface of the asset.

People tags available
Active Elpas Personnel tags are also available for applications such as hands free access control, hands-free asset escorting, locating critical staff members and panic alarm. The same infrastructure is used for both asset and personnel tags.
