Mr. Uri Salomon brings to Visonic
Technology more than 25 years of experience in marketing and sales positions
in leading technological companies. Uri served as VP marketing in TeraOp Ltd.
- a start-up company developing advanced optical components based on MEMS
technology. Prior to that, he was VP BD of Net2Wireless (Jigami later) that
developed wideband value-added services for cellular networks based on content
compression and the CEO of GML Ltd. - a company that developed surveillance
systems based on video processing.
Between 1991 and 1998 Uri served as VP of
Marketing and Sales at Tadiran Telecommunications Ltd. He was responsible for
Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa. Under his leadership sales of the
company to these markets increased dramatically. Before moving to sales
department Uri was the manager of an R&D team developing military line
communication equipment.
Mr. Salomon holds a second degree in electronic engineering and a MBA from
Tel-Aviv University.
